- VIDEO SECTION ADDED : CLICK LINK TO THE LEFT
hello,
I am a 28 year old WEB/INTERACTIVE developer who has worked in the Los Angeles and Greater Orlando areas since 2004. I specialize in ADOBE FLASH , FLASH ANIMATION , ACTIONSCRIPT 2.0/3.0 , and ACTIONSCRIPT PROJECTS IN FLEX. My approach to development is very much based around object oriented , application framework. I have considerable experience using Flash to handle dynamic , data driven content. The client links listed provide examples of various applications I developed for the web. Please select the ACTIVE TEXT to the right of the PROJECT LINK heading in each section , if available , to view the site. You may be asking yourself ,
This site is built largely in XHTML and CSS against the W3C XHTML 1.1 strict DTD for search engine optimization ( S.E.O. ) benefits. But never fear , there is plenty of flash to be seen. In each client section there are links to the live locations, if applicable. Please view my resume for a more detailed list of employers and experience. *** IMPORTANT *** : Javascript must be enabled to use this site. :D

project links : BUDWEISER :: BUDLIGHT [?] :: BUDBOWL [?]
The BUDWEISER site was built primarily in ACTIONSCRIPT 2.0 using the Flash 8.0 I.D.E. The site also relied heavlily on external xml data , that was dynamically at run time. XML data allowed the client a flexible means in which to update several content heavy sections independantly from the source code. The SWFObject javascript class was used to manage the HTML and Flash Content within the page. My primary responsibilities for this included :
- :: CONTENT MAINTENANCE & BUG FIXES
- :: 2008 SITE REDESIGN/RESKIN : CODE MODIFICATION & SITE REPURPOSING
BUDLIGHT was a site built in 2007 entirely in ACTIONSCRIPT 2.0. It was developed by myself and another Flash professional. Because this particular site involved a lot of Flash 8.0 video , updating the media content was quite involved. Media was encoded to very explicit specifications, using On2FlixPro , Quicktime , and Adobe After Effects. BUDBOWL is a site that gets released once a year to help promotes the SUPERBOWL. I built the site in ACTIONSCRIPT 3.0 and FLEX 2.0. I also experimented with the open source , TWITTER API for this project. My primary responsibilities for these projects included :
- :: CONTENT MAINTENANCE & UPDATES
- :: ADDITIONAL SECTIONS AND FUNCTIONALITY

project links: SCION BROADBAND :: SCION.COM
SCION BROADBAND is a site I inherited from the original developer.It was built in ACTIONSCRIPT 2.0 on top of a third party media framework , and a secondary custom framework. Much of the site's graphical components were developed within the Flash 8.0 I.D.E. , however the core functionality was application, O.O.P driven. My responsabilites on this site were routine maitenance and the addition of several advanced , custom features. Custom features included :
- :: BACKGROUND CUSTOMIZER
- :: SCION EASY TEN SUBSECTION
- :: SEND TO A FRIEND
The routine maintenance included heavy xml modifications and additions , graphic creation , and video editing/encoding to be streamed from a third party media server. SCION.COM was built by myself , and two other developers. The front end of the site was built entirely using ACTIONSCRIPT 3.0 PROJECTS IN FLEX 2.0 and was built on top of a FLEX framework. It connects to data services such as MICROSOFT VIRTUAL EARTH and other propietary service pages. I was responsible for the :

- :: MEMBERS SERVICES & WISHLIST

My contributions included :
- :: INTERACTIVE MAP
- :: FAQ SECTION
- :: WALLPAPERS SECTION

One of the Johnson and Johnson projects I worked on was the Listerine , REVEAL YOUR RINSE campaign. The project was built in actionscript 3.0 using an application level approach. It was essentially one embedded swf within a div tag on an html page that included a video player with a custom G.U.I. and A.P.I. , a paginated video thumbnail display interface , and a YOUTUBE like rating and scale system. The data service calls were made internally from flash to java .do pages hosted elsewhere on the server. Custom features included :
- :: ENTIRE FLASH FRONT END

The site inlcuded a wide variety of avaiable technologies such as XHTML , XML , XML VALIDATION against a D.T.D. , and a componentized approach to U.I. handling. The site also supported roughly sixteen language translations. Internationalization often poses a challenge to developers due to inherit font issues. I helped produce several of the international versions of the site. Project responsibilites included :
- :: SITE INTERNATIONALIZATION
- :: MAINTENANCE & UPDATES
I KNOW WHO KILLED ME and THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL movie sites were built in ACTIONSCRIPT 2.0 using a custom framework and several traditional timeline approaches for animation techniques. The LOCAL CONNECTION OBJECT was used for several of these banners as they were synced ads in placement through a third party vendor. These ad have been hosted on various sites , including ABOUT.COM. Project responsiblities included :
